#MyExtraLife Definitive Collection

For awhile now I have been listening to Scott Johnson who is a podcaster, cartoonist, illustrator, designer and creator of The Frog Pants Studios. With the many talents of Scott one of the many talents is his drawing ability and story telling.  My Extra Life is a webcomic that has been running since 2001 and he has finally decided to make a definitive Collection.  In 2015 Scott decided to launch a Kickstarter campaign and I made sure I jumped on. The Kickstarter Project in the words of Scott Johnson:

“I started ExtraLife in June of 2001, mostly as a way to keep drawing all the time.  Seemed like a good way to improve my skills and MAYBE grow a little audience online.  It turned out to be one of the smartest things I had ever done with my life.  It’s opened so many doors, created so many relationships, and was the gateway to a whole career for me online.

Nearly 15 years later, I figure it’s time to finally bow to fan desire for a physical collection. The time is right, and I’m ready to do it. So let’s go.

The comic has evolved a lot over the years in both content and format, but at it’s heart, it’s always been a lifeline to the things I love so much in life: Movies, pop culture, video games, TV, nerd life, and even my own life and family.”
