Event organizers announced the cancellation of Denver Pop Culture Con 2021, which had been scheduled for May 14-16 at the Colorado Convention Center in Downtown Denver, CO.

Denver Pop Culture Con Canceled for 2020, Will Return in May 2021

Following the issuance of the State of Colorado’s intent to extend its use of the Colorado Convention Center through the end of the year, Pop Culture Classroom announced it must cancel Denver Pop Culture Con 2020.

The Power of Disabilities in comics

In this session of the Denver Comic Con 2018, we explore how classic comics portray heroes and villians with disabilities and what that can teach students. We end with a a discussion of the new ways some contemorary comics portray disability.
