Diamond Comic Distributors, the world’s largest distributor of comics, graphic novels, and pop culture merchandise, announced in March the upcoming release of several PREVIEWS Exclusive collectibles. Included in these announcements were the Super Marvel Heroes Immortal Hulk Pop! figure from Funko and the latest series of Alien and Predator 1/18 scale figures from Hiya Toys.
Marvel announced MARVEL’S VOICES: INDIGENOUS VOICES #1, a landmark special written and drawn by some of the industry’s most renowned Indigenous talent including celebrated artist and writer Jeffrey Veregge. Veregge, who just wrapped up his exhibition Jeffrey Veregge: Of Gods and Heroes at the Smithsonian’s National Museum of the American Indian, also lent his talents to produce an extraordinary series of variant covers in November. The NATIVE AMERICAN HERITAGE TRIBUTE VARIANT COVERS will showcase Dani Moonstar, Black Panther, Spider-Man, Black Widow, Iron Man, Captain America, Hulk, and Thor depicted in Veregge’s iconic artistic Formline style.
From Werewolf by Night to Tomb of Dracula, Marvel has a proud history of horror themed comics and this October, these classic terrifying tales will be honored in a series of Horror Variant covers! Prepare to see your favorite Marvel characters like you’ve never seen them before as the X-Men, the Avengers, Spider-Man, and more live out nightmarish fantasies just in time for Halloween.
