Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of board games, trading cards, and collectibles, today announced that it will showcase several of its current and upcoming collectibles at Toy Fair, February 17-20 at the Javits Center in New York City. The company will highlight several lines of vinyl figures:
Cryptkins, an original IP launching early this year, and
DC Bombshells,
Lil Bombshells,
Pumps, and
Teekeez. In addition, it will offer sneak peeks of forthcoming figures in these and other lines at its booth (#5344).
“We feel that we have established an identity as a company that does high quality figures with a distinctive style that fans love,” said Jamie Kiskis, VP of Marketing & Product Development at Cryptozoic Entertainment. “At Toy Fair, we will emphasize our core lines of figures, including DC Bombshells and Lil Bombshells. At the same time, we are going to show everyone in the industry that we’re ramping things up even more—we are releasing more figures in all of our popular lines and introducing exciting new collectibles like Cryptkins. This is going to be an incredible year for us.”
The major lines of vinyl figures that Cryptozoic will display are:
Cryptkins: Cryptozoic’s first original series of vinyl figures are inspired by various creatures that have been the subject of folklore and tabloid headlines for decades. These figures are each approximately 2.25-inches tall and include Nessie, Chupacabra, Cthulhu, and Bigfoot. There are 13 figures in all, with 2 of them being rare and 1 of them ultra-rare. Sculpted by Sam Greenwell, each one comes packaged in a collectible, blind-reveal miniature crate. The figures will be available in March at retailers everywhere. Cryptkins will also be available in digital form on Quidd, the fast-growing platform for digital goods on iOS and Android. The Cryptkins Channel, premiering in February, will feature static and animated trading cards, stickers, and 3D figures based on both the initial figures and future releases.
