Convention Connection: @Cryptozoic Is Headed To #NYCCC17 With Plenty Of Exclusives

Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of board games, trading cards, and collectibles, today announced that it will offer three exclusive vinyl figures, showcase several of its newest collectibles lines, and sell selected games at New York Comic Con, October 5-8 at the Javits Center in New York City.

At Booth #244, Cryptozoic will sell three New York Comic Con exclusive figures that were first made available via online presales: “Powerful in Pink” Wonder Woman,“30th Anniversary Edition” Metallic Red Ryu, and “New York Comic Con Edition” Lois Lane. Those who bought the extremely limited collectibles through the presales will be able to pick them up at the booth. An additional supply of all three figures will be made available for purchase as well.

Throughout the show, Cryptozoic will be celebrating the “retirement” of its best-selling Series 1 DC Bombshells vinyl figures, which will no longer be manufactured in their original form. In addition, Cryptozoic’s newest collectibles—Series 2 of DC Bombshells and Lil Bombshells and Series 1 of Street Fighter Knockouts and Lil Knockouts—will be prominently displayed and available for purchase. Yoshinori Ono, the renowned producer of several games in the Street Fighter series, will be signing the figures based on the popular video franchise at Cryptozoic’s booth on Friday, October 6 from 12 p.m. to 1 p.m. Finally, several of the company’s games, includes ones based on the hit TV series Rick and Morty and the popular anime Attack on Titan, will be sold at its booth.

“New York Comic Con brings together some of the greatest fans and creators of pop culture in the world, so it’s an amazing opportunity for us to show all the collectibles, games, and trading cards that we’ve been working so hard to develop,” said Jamie Kiskis, VP of Marketing & Product Development at Cryptozoic Entertainment. “We love getting direct feedback from fans and, to show our gratitude, we are releasing some fantastic, extremely limited vinyl figures made exclusively for the show.”

Cryptozoic will be selling three New York Comic Con exclusive figures:

“Powerful in Pink” Wonder Woman –  A variant of the Series 1 DC Bombshells vinyl figure, it boldly features the color pink on all of Wonder Woman’s clothing. Designed by Pedro Astudillo and sculpted by Anders Ehrenborg, the 7-inch figure comes packaged in a display-worthy special edition window box. Each box is individually hand-numbered from 1 to 750.
“30th Anniversary Edition” Metallic Red Ryu – A variant of the Series 1 Street Fighter Lil Knockouts vinyl figure, this version of Ryu commemorates the 30-year history of Capcom’s Street Fighter video game series by sporting only the iconic red color associated with the character’s headband. Each 2.75-inch figure is stamped with “30th Anniversary” on the base and comes individually hand-numbered from 1 to 300, making it the lowest-run Street Fighter Lil Knockouts collectible Cryptozoic has produced to date. Designed by Pedro Astudillo and sculpted by Sam Greenwell, it comes packaged inside Cryptozoic’s signature collectible tin.
“New York Comic Con Edition” Lois Lane – A variant of the Series 2 DC Lil Bombshells vinyl figure, its features the headline “New York Comic Con” and the dates of this year’s show on the newspaper in Lois Lane’s hand. Each limited edition 2.75-inch collectible is stamped with “New York Comic Con Exclusive” on the base and comes individually hand-numbered from 1 to 300, making it the lowest-run DC Lil Bombshells figure Cryptozoic has produced to date. Designed by Pedro Astudillo and sculpted by Sam Greenwell, it comes packaged inside Cryptozoic’s signature collectible tin.
Cryptozoic will also be showing off its most recent collectibles releases:

DC Bombshells: Series 2 —  These 7-inch vinyl figures feature some of DC’s most popular female characters. Packaged in display-worthy window boxes, Series 2 includes Supergirl, Poison Ivy, and Batwoman. They were designed by Pedro Astudillo and sculpted by Anders Ehrenborg.
DC Lil Bombshells: Series 2 —  Smaller in scale, each of these figures measures approximately 2.75-inches tall. Series 2 presents new poses for Harley Quinn and Wonder Woman and eight characters that are new to the line: Supergirl, Batgirl, Lois Lane, Zatanna, Killer Frost, Huntress, Bumblebee, and Cheetah. There are also two rare “Noir” variants, bringing the total number of figures in the set to 12. Designed by Pedro Astudillo and sculpted by Sam Greenwell, each figure comes in Cryptozoic’s signature, collectible blind-reveal tin.
Street Fighter Knockouts: Series 1 — These 7-inch vinyl figures feature the powerful women from the Street Fighter video game series. Packaged in display-worthy window boxes, Series 1 includes Chun-Li, Cammy, and Sakura. The figures were designed by Pedro Astudillo and sculpted by Anders Ehrenborg.
Street Fighter Lil Knockouts: Series 1 — These 2.75-inch vinyl figures are based on fan-favorite characters from the video game franchise. Series 1 consists of Ryu, Chun-Li, Cammy, Ken, Blanka, Guile, Sakura, M. Bison, Zangief, and Akuma. In addition, there will be two rare variant Chase figures. Designed by Pedro Astudillo and sculpted by Sam Greenwell, each figure comes in Cryptozoic’s signature, collectible blind-reveal tin.
Lastly, Cryptozoic will sell some of its newest games, including:

Rick and Morty: Anatomy Park – The Game — Based on the episode “Anatomy Park” from Adult Swim’s Rick and Morty, the 2-4 player strategy game sends players into the body of Ruben, a homeless man in a Santa suit, to build a nearly-microscopic amusement park utilizing his major organs . . .  and some disgusting minor ones. Players must design the best park possible by placing tiles while simultaneously avoiding and fighting Diseases, such as Tuberculosis and Hepatitis A. Certain actions shift around Ruben’s internal organs during gameplay, causing unexpected effects and forcing players to act out embarrassing bodily functions!
Attack on Titan: The Last Stand — Based on the popular anime series, this board game puts one player in the role of a fearsome Titan, threatening the last remaining human city. The other players are brave Heroes trying to protect the populace and preserve the supply depot in the final bastion of humanity! Designed by the award-winning Antoine Bauza and Ludovic Maublanc, the game requires strategic utilization of dice and features unique vertical gameplay, as the Heroes move up and down both the Tower and the 15-inch tall Titan Standee.
DC Deck-Building Game Multiverse Box — This storage box holds all the different sets that have been released for the popular DC Deck-Building Game, utilizing set dividers and foam inserts to keep all the cards organized, and has extra room for expansions to come. It comes exclusively with the Multiverse Crossover Pack, which draws from the “Convergence” comic book storyline and offers an experience that takes advantage of a DC Deck-Building Game fan’s entire box of cards.
