Cryptozoic Entertainment, leading creator of board games, trading cards, and collectibles, today announced that it will be demoing games at Peachstate Hobby Distribution’s Speed Gaming 2017 at the Wyndham Dallas Suites, April 12-14. This annual organized play event gives retailers a chance to play tabletop games with numerous manufacturers, getting twenty-five minutes of playing time with each manufacturer. Hosted by Peachstate Hobby Distribution (PHD), the largest gaming distributor in the South, the event will feature several winners and prizes.

Cryptozoic will be demoing and offering chances to play many of its upcoming and already released 2017 games, including:

Attack on Titan: The Last Stand
Based on the popular anime series, this board game puts one player in the role of a fearsome Titan, threatening the last remaining human city. The other players are brave Heroes trying to protect the populace and preserve the supply depot in the final bastion of humanity! Designed by the award-winning Antoine Bauza and Ludovic Maublanc, Attack on Titan: The Last Stand will please fans of the anime and hard core gamers alike.
DC Deck-Building Game Crossover Pack 5: The Rogues
In this expansion for Cryptozoic’s popular DC Comics Deck-Building Game series, players can play as one of six of the Flash’s worst enemies, who must work together using the new “Teamwork” mechanic. There will only be one winner, however, so don’t help your fellow villains too much! Players can shuffle the 23 included main deck cards into any DC Comics base set to add variety to gameplay. The pack comes with eight Super Heroes to battle, presenting fresh challenges for fans of the deck-building game series and its expansions.
Batman: The Animated Series Almost Got ’Im Card Game
In this 5-8 player social deduction game based on the classic “Almost Got ’Im” episode of Batman: The Animated Series, players become various Villains of the Caped Crusader, one of whom is secretly Batman in disguise. Participants gather cards to form poker hands that activate special abilities, as the Villain players try to find out which one of them is Batman and the Batman player tries to Subdue the Villains before they discover his or her true identity.
