Convention Connection: #COMICONN Dates Announced

Altered Reality Entertainment, LLC are excited to announce their newest event, ComiCONN, A Show for the Fans by the Fans, in partnership with Foxwoods Resort Casino, will be held June 10 and 11, 2017.
The event will include all the same aspects that fans have come to expect from a comic con — celebrity appearances from the big and small screen, industry-leading comic book artists, and the best vendors in the market with toys and collectibles, as well as the ever-popular cosplay competitions and events.
The first guest announced for the two-day convention is professional wrestling manager and professional wrestler, Ric Flair. With a career that spans forty years, The WWE recognizes Flair as a 16-time World Champion, and the only 2-time inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame in history. Flair has served as the main event on WrestleMania and was the first WCW World Heavyweight Champion. Known as the “Nature Boy,” Flair’s legacy establishes him as one of the greatest professional wrestlers of all time.
Other guests announced thus far include Jim Shooter and wrestler Amy Dumas. Former editor in chief of Marvel Comics, Jim Shooter is a writer who has worked on such titles as The Amazing Spider-Man, The Avengers, and Daredevil, among many others across the industry. Shooter also served as editor in chief at Valiant Comics.
Amy Dumas is a professional wrestler with the WWE from 2000 to 2006 known as Lita. She was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame in 2014, entertained fans as part of Team Xtreme, and won the WWE Women’s Championship four times.
Additional guests will be announced as the year progresses leading up to ComiCONN 2017.
