Are you headed to Colorado Springs Comic Con or just curious? With only a few short weeks left before the first annual Colorado Springs Comic Con, organizers have announced programming for the three-day multimedia convention.

Q&A with Amy Jo Johnson: 4:30 to 5:30

As the star of Flashpoint, Covert Affairs, and Mighty Morphin Power Rangers, Amy Jo Johnson has made a name for herself as a talented and versatile actress. In addition, she has established herself as an accomplished singer-songwriter with three albums to her credit. In a rare on-stage appearance, she will share her experiences in the television and movie industry.
The ABC’s of Science Fiction from K.B. Wagers: 5:45 to 6:45

Colorado Springs resident and author K.B. Wagers’ debut novel Behind the Throne just dropped. Join K.B. as she talks about her book as well as her writing process and offers her advice for aspiring sci-fi scribes on how to tell a compelling and appealing story.
Star Wars Trivia Contest: 7:00 to 8:30

You think you’re the best Star Wars aficionado in the Colorado area? Want to put your credits where your mouth is? Join Star Wars artist and guru Kevin Liell as he offers up the challenge to see whose brain houses the most facts about one of the world’s greatest science fiction franchises. Compete for prizes and bragging rights and see just how much of the force is with you!

Q&A with Neal Adams: 11:00 to 12:00

The DC Universe was crafted by many hands, but few have had the impact of Neal Adams. From Batman to Superman to Green Lantern/Green Arrow, Adams has left his mark on the characters and lore of some of the most celebrated superheroes in the world. His career spans over 50 years and in that time, he has amassed a lot of stories. Come and listen to a few of them as this comic legend takes the stage.

Twenty years ago, director Kevin Smith set out to tell stories in a way that they had never been told before. They were stories of people like himself and his friend – convenience store employees and teens hanging out at malls. The resulting films, Clerks and Mallrats kicked off one of the first shared cinematic universes, the View Askewniverse, which spawned many sequels and tie-in films like Chasing Amy, Clerks 2, Jay and Silent Bob Strike Back, and Dogma. These movies have become legendary in comedic independent cinema and continue to resonate with each new generation. Join stars Jason Mewes and Brian O’Halloran as they reminisce about the process of putting together some of the most memorable and impactful films in all of geekdom.
The Art of VFX – From Star Wars to Harry Potter: 1:30 to 2:30

Ed Kramer is a visual effects artist whose film credits Star Wars, The Mummy, Twister, Jumanji, Pirates of the Caribbean, Harry Potter, and Galaxy Quest. He has been a CGI artist for 35 years, 12 of those were as a Senior Technical Director and Sequence Supervisor at Industrial Light + Magic, the premiere visual effects shop in the world, during some of the most formative years and projects of CGI history. Now a teacher of CGI skills at the Art Institute of Colorado, Ed is joining Colorado Springs Comic Con on the main stage to discuss his personal history of CGI, as traced through his work. Come and hear him speak and ask questions about what it takes to be a successful VFX engineer in the 21st Century.
It’s Morphin Time with the Power Rangers: 3:00 to 4:00

The Power Rangers have enjoyed a long and industrious existence, entertaining folks of all ages since their debut in 1993. Combining teenage drama with martial arts super heroism and adding a dash of giant robot battle, this show has it all. Come and meet some of the cast as they reunite to talk all things ranger! Jason David Frank (Tommy the Green Ranger), Jason Faunt (Alex the Red Time Force Ranger), Jason Narvey (Skull), and Paulie Schrier (Bulk) take the stage to talk about what it means to be a real Ranger.
The Comic Book Men Keep It Real (Nerdy): 4:15 to 5:15

Having just been renewed for a 6th Season, AMC’s reality series Comic Book Men has been a beacon for comic con fans from all walks of life. The show surrounds the day to day antics of the staff of Jay and Silent Bob’s Secret Stash, a landmark comic book shop in Red Bank, New Jersey, owned by filmmaker and podcast legend Kevin Smith join two members of the cast, Ming Chen and Mike Zapcic, as they open up about what it means to be given the mantle of “Comic Book Men.”
Moviecamp: How to Make Movies Better: 5:30 to 6:30

Join the hosts of Moviecamp on an adventure featuring games that’ll test your lightsaber skills, Spider reflexes, and ShakesTHORian knowledge. Challenge your brain with mind bending trivia from Star Trek, Marvel, Pokemon and many more. Did we mention there will be prizes!? Ride or Die with Sons of Anarchy: 11:00 to 12:00

One of the hottest shows of the 21st Century, Sons of Anarchy thrilled, saddened, and enthralled millions of viewers. Stars Tommy Flanagan, Michael Beech, Emilio Rivera, and Mitch Pileggi will sit down and share their experiences on the hardest driving show ever produced.
Making Lightweight Costumes with Fiberglass and Other Composites: 12:15 to 1:15

An introduction for using fiberglass and carbon fiber composites to make lightweight costume pieces. Lesson covers fibers, matrix (glue), molds, preparation, assembly, and finishing.
Buck Rogers Live on Stage: 1:30 to 2:30

Buck Rogers in the 25th Century was a show not to be missed back in the day. It introduced its viewers to amazing heroes, alien races, and exciting conflicts. Its reach extends to modern science fiction as an example of how to effectively tell a great story set in a futuristic world of space travel and exploration. Join stars Gil Gerard (Buck Rogers) and Felix Silla (Twiki) as they travel into the past to talk about their experiences on that legendary show.
Cosplay Contest Check in: 2:30 to 3:00

All contestants for the Kids and Adults Cosplay Contests must check in at the main panel room.
Kids Cosplay Contest: 3:00 to 3:30

Come and see what kinds of amazing costumes our younger cosplayers have prepared for the show. Celebrity judges will take the stage to award prizes to the most creative costumes of the day!
CSCC 2016 Cosplay Contest: 3:35 to 5:00

The most creative costumes from around the con will be on display as special guest cosplayers judge and award contestants who have gone the extra mile. The most creative costumes of the weekend are all in one place and you won’t want to miss it!
