4 KIDS WALK INTO A BANK is a dark and hysterical story about four kids who decide to pursue a life of crime. Who hasn’t thought about robbing a bank as a kid? I know I have, but this is more than just thinking about it.
We are introduced to Eleven-year-old Paige and her you know it “Weird Friends” if you didn’t see that coming you should reexamine your life. I am sure those guys you hang out with fit the bill. If these guys have not shown up in your life, they sure are in mine. Anyway, as I was saying we meet Paige and her weird friends and well they have a problem. Paige’s Dad is an ex-con, and his buddies need his help. They want to rob a bank the problem is they have been caught before, and well let’s face it; they are not the brightest of cons. So Paige feels that it is her responsibility to keep dear old dad out of trouble. So what does any kid do? She decides to do the job herself.
Issue one was a fun ride, and I am getting ready to jump into issue two soon. I highly recommend jumping in. Written by Matthew Rosenberg with art by Tyler Boss released by Black Mask Studios.
