Casting Call: Arrow Adds More Characters To Season 5

Green Arrow Casting Call

More casting news for season 5 of Arrow, which returns on October 5, 2016.  Reports are circling that a new villain and new hero/villain has been added to the cast.

Chad L. Coleman (The Walking Dead) has been cast as a new villain of Tobias Church and will make his screen debut during the season premiere episode. The character is described as “an imposing gangster looking to unite the various criminal enterprises in Star City under his own singular command.”

Arrow is also adding a familiar face to season 5 of Arrow.  Madison McLaughlin, who played the Black Canary impersonator Evelyn Sharp in the series, will be suiting up as the young archer also known as Artemis.  Mclaughlin will in a multi-episode arc beginning with episode 5.02, but we still don’t know what side she is on.

So as the summer progresses casting continues to heat up.  Coleman and McLaughlin join Josh Segarra and Rick Gonzalez who were added to the cast earlier last week.

I am sure that with San Diego Comic Con right around the corner we will see more information on story, characters and where the CW lineup is headed.

Arrow stars Stephen Amell as Oliver Queen, David Ramsey as John Diggle, Willa Holland as Thea Queen, Emily Bett Rickards as Felicity Smoak, John Barrowman as Malcom Merlyn, with Paul Blackthorne as Detective Lance. The series is executive produced by Greg Berlanti, Marc Guggenheim, Andrew Kreisberg and Sarah Schechter.
