Trailer Nation: Injustice 2 Gameplay from #E3 and @NetherRealm

 

Injustice 2 gameplay gives us a little more of what we want.

With the announcement to Injustice 2 last week we now getting a better look into what the gameplay looks like.  The game is still in early development so the graphics look a little rough, but entertaining none the less.   We also get to have a look at a few more characters not featured in the game trailer.  In the previous trailer we see Aquaman, Batman, Flash, Supergirl and Superman, but now we get a look at Red Lantern Atrocitus, Black Manta, Dex-Star and Gorilla Grodd.

Every character in Injustice 2 will have “a vast, vast array of what we’re calling gear” – costume pieces and equipment that are used to upgrade your abilities – according to Boon. The superhero you start controlling at the beginning of the game won’t have the same skills as the one you end with. Players will determine whether they want more speed, more health, more strength, and the like. “There are thousands and thousands of pieces for, let’s say, the Flash,” he says. “You are in the constant process of making your version of the Flash.”
