With recent news that Supergirl season two is headed to The CW we get get news that The CW has announced Supergirls cousin Superman will appear in season two.
“Greg Berlanti, Ali Adler and I are beyond thrilled to welcome Clark Kent and his slightly-more-famous alter ego to the world of Supergirl,” executive producer Andrew Kreisberg said. “Superman will be appearing in the first two episodes of the new season and we cannot wait to see who next dons the red cape!”
Supergirl previously aired on CBS and will move to The CW this fall joining Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow. Supergirl stars Melissa Benoist as Supergirl along with Mehcad Brooks as James Olsen, Laura Benanti as Alura Zor-El, Calista Flockhart as Cat Grant, Chyler Leigh as Alexandra “Alex” Danvers, Jeremy Jordan as Winslow “Winn” Schott, Jenna Dewan Tatum as Lucy Lane (sister of Lois), David Harewood as Hank Henshaw, Peter Facinelli as Maxwell Lord, with Dean Cain and Helen Slater as Kara’s adoptive parents, Jeremiah and Eliza Danvers.
