From the opening crawl of Star Wars: Episode IV A New Hope we know that “Rebel spaceships, striking from a hidden base, have won their first victory against the evil Galactic Empire. During the battle, Rebel spies managed to steal secret plans to the Empire’s ultimate weapon, the DEATH STAR, an armored space station with enough power to destroy an entire planet.” No let’s see what happened
Rogue One is set between the films Star Wars: Episode III: Revenge of the Sith and Star Wars: Episode IV: A New Hope. Star Wars Rogue One is written by Chris Weitz and is based on an idea by Gary Whitta and John Knoll.  Rogue One is Directed by Gareth Edwards and stars Felicity Jones, Mads Mikkelsen, Alan Tudyk, Ben Mendelsohn, Forest Whitaker and James Earl Jones reprising his voice role as Darth Vader who has previously reprised his role on Star Wars Rebels. .  Unlike the previous Star Wars films this will not center around force user, but the centered around the Rebels set out on a mission to steal the plans for the Death Star.
Star Wars Anthology: Rogue one is set to be released on December 16, 2016
