Casting Call: Supergirl adding Colonel James Harper

Supergirl continues to grow in characters and they are not done yet.  In the upcoming episode Manhunter, which be be aired on March 21, 2016 we will be getting Colonel James Harper.  For those of you who do not know who Colonel James Harper is he is the original Guardian.

im Harper is a police officer in Metropolis’ Suicide Slum who became a vigilante to catch crooks that the law could not prosecute, describing himself as guarding society from criminals. He was trained to fighting condition by ex-boxer Joe Morgan (the same man who trained two other mystery men,Wildcat and the first Atom).  The Guardian was created by Jack Kirby and Joe Simon and made his first appeared in Star-Spangled Comics #7 (April 1942).

For Supergirl The Guardian will be played by Eddie McClintock (Warehouse 13).

I think Eddie McClintock is a great addition to the show and will be a good Guardian, but we would love to know what your thoughts are concerning the casting. Let us know what you think in the comment section below.
