According to Blu-ray.com Star Wars: The Force Awakens has been slated for an April 5, 2016 release date. Blu-Ray.com has been a reliable source when it comes to release dates.
According to Blu-ray.com, the Blu-ray will include a DVD, plus UV, iTunes and Google Play digital copies. As yet there’s no word on special features, nor a UK release date.Now, depending on how Disney packages this I see several packages available.

We won’t know for sure what special features will be available until an official press release, but it is nice to see Disney is ready to release The Force Awakens after only five months in the theatre. A movie that has been destroying movie records and as of today is ranked 10th in all time world records with $1,161,085,429 and has only been out for 11 days.
