TV Time:Riddick Headed to TV and back to the Movies

maxresdefault Vin Diesel has signed a deal with Universal TV and with this he is developing a new show that will add to the Riddick series.

Richard B. Riddick, or is commonly known as Riddick, is a character/anti-hero who was created by Jim and Ken Wheat.  Riddick has starred in four films Pitch Black, The Chronicles of Riddick, The Chronicles of Riddick: Dark Fury (Animated), and Riddick.

Whether or not Diesel takes up the mantle once again as Riddick is unknown. What we do know is that the new show will focus on the bounty hunters and mercs of Merc City, which Diesel mentioned last month.

Diesel also mentioned that director David Twohy was writing the next Riddick movie, to be titled Furia.

What are your thoughts? Do you want to watch a TV show and another film based on the world of Riddick? Let us know in the comments below.
