X-Men: Apocalypse is the 8th film in the X-Men franchise (and yes I am counting The Wolverine). This film is based on the the first and most powerful mutant, Apocalypse, who is awakened after thousands of years. who is disillusioned with the world he finds, recruits a team of powerful mutants to cleanse humanity and create a new world order. Raven, along with Professor X, must lead the X-Men to stop Apocalypse before recruits a team of powerful mutants, including a disheartened Magneto (Michael Fassbender), to cleanse mankind and create a new world order, over which he will reign.
This film is the sequel to 2014’s X-Men: Days of Future Past. Directed by Bryan Singer, with a screenplay by Simon Kinberg from a story conceived by Singer, Kinberg, Michael Dougherty and Dan Harris.
X-Men Apocalypse stars Jennifer Lawrence (Hunger Games), Michael Fassbender (Prometheus), James McAvoy (Wanted), Oscar Issac (Star Wars: The Force Awakens), and much more.
