TV Time: Supergirl Reveals a Twist in Characters

on October 26th, 2015 CBS aired the pilot episode of Supergirl.  In the pilot episode we were introduced to several characters.  One character of interest was Hank Henshaw.  For those of you who do not know who Hank Henshaw is he is known as a supervillain featured primarily as an enemy of Superman.

While a villain of Superman Henshaw is transformed into a Cyborg due to a similar accident that transformed the Fantastic Four over at Marvel.  Due to this accident Henshaw possesses the ability to control and reanimate various machines. Due to Henshaw’s experience with Superman’s birth matrix, Henshaw now has all of Superman’s powers and genetic tissue identical to the Man of Steel’s. As a member of the Sinestro Corps, Henshaw has access to a power ring fueled by fear energy that allows him to create any construct he can imagine.

Now, over several episodes of Supergirl we have seen Henshaw’s eyes glow red, which ties into Cyborg Superman, which makes sense, but that is not the case. SPOILERS AHEAD!!!!!!

In the recent episode of Supergirl it has been revealed that Hank Henshaw is NOT Cyborg Superman, but revealed as  J’onn J’onzz AKA The Martian Manhunter.
