For most us us we know Matches Malone as an alias Batman sometimes uses when he wants to information on criminal organizations he would not otherwise be able to infiltrate. So why is Matches Malone headed to Gotham? Matches Malone was a New Jersey gangster and arsonist whose identity was taken by Batman after his death.
According to Comicbook it looks like Michael Bowen (Breaking bad) has been cast to play the gangster Patrick “Matches” Malone for Fox’s Gotham. This character has been alluded to in an earlier episode of Gotham this year when this year when Silver St. Cloud (Natalie Alyn Lind) mentioned a “M. Malone” as the murderer of Thomas and Martha Wayne.
Fox has described Matches Malone as “Gotham’s deadliest killers, Matches Malone is a weathered, philosophical hitman who may be the triggerman behind one of the most important crimes in Gotham’s history.”
Gotham Airs of the Fox Network on Monday Nights.
