With the release of Star Wars: The Force Awakens set to hit the theatre on December 18, 2015 in the US. We still do not know who some of these characters are. StarWars.Com has
FINN: A trained warrior desperate to escape his past, Finn is plunged into adventure as his conscience drives him down a heroic, but dangerous, path.
POE DAMERON: An ace pilot, Poe Dameron is a leader in the Resistance’s fight against the evil First Order. He soars into battle behind the controls of a modern X-wing fighter.
REY: Rey is a resilient survivor, a scavenger toughened by a lifetime of dealing with the cutthroats of the harsh desert world of Jakku.
KYLO REN: A dark warrior strong with the Force, Kylo Ren commands First Order missions with a temper as fiery as his unconventional lightsaber.
GENERAL HUX: A young, ruthless officer in the First Order, General Hux has complete confidence in his troops, training methods and weapons.
CAPTAIN PHASMA: Clad in distinctive metallic armor, Captain Phasma commands the First Order’s legions of troopers.
TEEDO: Teedo is a small, brutish scavenger that roams Jakku’s vast wasteland on his semi-mechanical Luggabeast.
BB-8: BB-8 is the spherical, loyal Astromech Droid of the Resistance pilot Poe Dameron.
LUGGABEAST: Beasts of burden found on frontier worlds, Luggabeasts are semi-mechanical creatures with faces forever hidden behind heavy armor plating.
RESISTANCE X-WING: The modern incarnation of a classic design, the Incom T-70 X-wing fighter is the signature combat craft of the Resistance forces in their fight against the First Order. When missions call for it, ace Resistance pilot Poe Dameron becomes Black Leader, flying a dark-hulled T-70 X-wing starfighter into action.
Several characters have not been revealed and most notably played by Max Von Sydow (Unknown character) and Andy Serkis (Supreme Leader Snoke) and a few others.
Am I the only one who feels really bad for the Luggabeasts? Being encased in metal seems extremely depressing.
But, that aside, this is super cool. :)
Hannah, at first I thought the same. But, in thinking of where they were, I think it might be beneficial due to the harse environment. Who knows, right?! I CANT WAIT!!!!
