Artist Alley: The Dragon Ball Z Project

Dragon Ball Z is a Japanese anime television series produced by Toei Animation. Dragon Ball Z is the sequel to the Dragon Ball anime and adapts the last 325 chapters of the original 519-chapter Dragon Ball manga series created by Akira Toriyama, that were published from 1988 to 1995.  In 1989 Dragon Ball Z aired on Japanese television for 7 years and was dubbed in several languages around the world.

Dragon Ball Z has a mass following with some creative and imaginative characters, but has yet to see an updated movie adaptation.  Well this is where DBZ Project comes into play.  Now DBZ is just a concept at this time, but what a concept it is.

The Dragon Ball project is the work of several professional artists  such as Javier Zumaeta, Bruno Camara, Danilo AthaydeDavid MouratoThomas Lalande.  Moize Opel. and Marcus Hedges. who have come together to create an updated computer-generated tribute to Akira Toriyama’s work. where it goes from here it is anyones guess, but i know i am hoping this hits the big screen or is eventually slated for a direct to video.
