In March of 2013 it was announced that the wait for Batman ’66 merchandise would be over. Since then we have seen many variations on the popular show that ran from 1966-1968 and went three seasons. We have seen T-Shirts, miniature cars, dolls, action figures and much more.
Funko who has already produced the Pop figure and Dorbz figure is at it again. Funko will be releasing Batman, Robin, Batgirl and The Joker on their new line of figures known as Vinyl Idolz. Under this line of figures we have already seen characters from Seinfeld, Ghostbusters and Hot Fuzz.
Each comes in at around 8″ tall, which is slightly more than your average action figure. I almost wish they were offered at a smaller scale to make them a bit more desk-friendly, but there are plenty enough vinyl collectibles from Funko already at a diminutive size that I can understand these pieces being slightly taller.
All four figures will be out in October for $19.99.
