100 Bullets is an Eisner and Harvey Award-winning comic book written by Brian Azzarello and illustrated by Eduardo Risso. 100 bullets was published under the Vertigo label and ran for 100 issues. The story is a crime saga which begins with one man who gives people who have been wronged the chance to exact revenge by giving them an untraceable pistol and one hundred bullets.
The Hollywood Reporter is reporting that Tom Hardy will be producing 100 bullets with Dean Baker via the duo’s Hardy Son & Baker production shingle. It is also reported that Tom Hardy would possibly star. New Line has the book, where most Vertigo titles are housed. Chris Borrell has written the script and since there’s already a script for the 100 Bullets movie, by Chris Borrelli (The Vatican Tapes) and could see a push to get this movie made.
