In the upcoming new animated series Dragon Ball Super the franchise is Reuniting iconic characters. Dragon Ball Super picks up after Goku’s fierce battle with Majin Buu, as he attempts to maintain Earth’s peace. Dragon Ball Super will be overseen by the original creator, Akira Toriyama, and produced with Fuji Television.
Having loved Dragon Ball since childhood, it is very exciting to be a part of this project,” producer for Fuji Television Osamu Nozaki previously said. “Mr. Toriyama has developed a plot that’s not only a dream come true for Dragon Ball’s millions of fans, but one that will foster in a new generation of viewers.”
The first “Dragon Ball” anime in 18 years, “Super” is produced by Toei Animation.
