TELEVISION

Blindspot (11:15AM-12:15PM, Room 6A). The new one-hour action-thriller Blindspot makes its Comic-Con debut with a screening of the complete pilot episode, followed by a Q&A with star Jaimie Alexander (Thor films) and executive producers Greg Berlanti, Sarah Schechter and Martin Gero.

Containment (6:15PM-7:15PM, Room 6BCF). When a mysterious and deadly epidemic breaks out in Atlanta, a vast urban quarantine is quickly enforced, forcing those stuck on the inside to fight for their lives while local and federal officials desperately search for a cure. Containment makes its Comic-Con debut with a special screening of the entire pilot episode, followed by a Q&A with series stars David Gyasi, Christina Moses, Chris Wood, Claudia Black and Kristen Gutoskie, along with executive producers Julie Plec, Matt Corman and Chris Ord.

Family Guy/American Dad/Bordertown (1PM-2:45PM, Ballroom 20). Seth MacFarlane will, for the first time, participate in a SDCC panel for the upcoming seasons of Family Guy, American Dad and offer a first look at Fox’s new comedy Bordertown. He’ll be joined by the casts and producers of each show, including: Seth Green, Alex Borstein, Mike Henry, Scott Grimes, Dee Bradley Baker, Wendy Schaal, Rich Appel, Steve Callaghan, Matt Weitzman and Brian Boyle as well as Bordertown‘s Missi Pyle, Nicholas Gonzalez, and Mark Hentemann.

The Last Man on Earth (10AM-11AM, Indigo Ballroom). Will Forte, Kristen Schaal, January Jones and EP Chris Miller will look back on season one and preview season two.

Nickelodeon’s Variety Show ft. Breadwinners Live! (The Horton Grand Theater). Nickelodeon Animation takes over the Horton Grand Theater to bring you a cartoon-copia of surprises including swag bags packed with exclusive collectibles!  Hosted by DJ Boogie.  Ticket Required: get free tickets in the Autograph Area of Comic Con’s Sails Pavilion.  Come hang out, crush some snacks and enjoy the show!  You can meet SpongeBob, Patrick and the Dino Charge Power Rangers, watch exclusive cartoons and the world premiere of two brand new shows, Pig Goat Banana Cricket and The Loud House. See the stars of Henry Danger unmask a super-secret surprise and laugh with the voice cast of Breadwinners as they perform and sing at a live table read!  Yip-Yip!  Scheduled to appear are Robbie Daymond (SwaySway), Eric Bauza (Buhdeuce) and special guests.  This is the one-night-only kids and family event full of amazement that you won’t want to miss.

Outlander (4PM-4:45PM, Ballroom 20). Expected to Appear: Ronald D. Moore, Sam Heughan, Caitriona Balfe, Diana Gabaldon.

Person of Interest (5:15PM-6:15PM, Room 6BCF). Person of Interest returns to San Diego for the fifth year! Join the discussion, as the science “fiction” of Person of Interest stays one step ahead of real-world events. Find out highly confidential intel when executive producers Jonathan Nolan, Greg Plageman and Denise Thé join series stars Jim Caviezel, Michael Emerson, Kevin Chapman and Amy Acker undergo a Comic-Con interrogation with a special video presentation and Q&A.

Salem (5:30PM-6:30PM, Room 6A) Stars Shane West, Janet Montgomery, Seth Gabel, Ashley Madekwe and Iddo Goldberg will join EPs Brannon Braga and Adam Simon for a look back at season two. Moderator: Eric Goldman

Scream Queens (9:15PM-10:15PM, Room 6DE). World premiere screening.

The Simpsons (12PM-12:45PM, Ballroom 20). The longest-running comedy in TV history will preview “Treehouse of Horror XXVI” with creator Matt Groening, EPs Al Jean and Matt Selman, supervising director Mike Anderson, director David Silverman and voice star Nancy Cartwright.

SpongeBob SquarePants. Panel featuring a live table read of the episode “Idiot Box” with Tom Kenny (SpongeBob), Bill Fagerbakke (Patrick Star), Rodger Bumpass (Squidward) and Dee Bradley Baker (all other Bikini Bottom citizens). The performance will be followed by a Q&A with the cast and creative director Vincent Waller, with a sneak peek at a brand new episode. The panel will be hosted by Nickelodeon.

Warner Bros. Television & DC Entertainment Present: Super Hero Saturday Night Offers Fans a Look Inside the Worlds of Arrow, The Flash and Gotham, plus a Pilot Screening of Supergirl and Video Presentations of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow andVixen  (8PM-11PM, Hall H). DC fans … get ready for another Super Hero Saturday Night! Warner Bros. Television and DC Entertainment will again welcome fans into the worlds of some of DC Comics’ greatest characters during a three-hour super-experience in Hall H. The exclusive evening will feature a pilot screening of the highly anticipated new action series Supergirl, followed by a Q&A with stars and producers; plus, individual special video presentations and Q&As with stars and producers from Arrow, The Flash and Gotham. Also, don’t miss a special Q&A with cast and producers of DC’s Legends of Tomorrow and a peek at the new digital series Vixen.

Kids’ Comics Panel (3PM-4PM, Room 23ABC). Expected to Appear: Raina Telgemeier.

OTHER PANELS

Acting Workshop (7PM-8PM, Room 30CDE).   Discussion, lecture, practical demonstrations on the state of the industry and how to powerfully up level your skills and performance, and position yourself for breakthrough success in today Entertainment industry. Expected to Appear: Richard Hatch.

The Art Directors Guild Production Designers (12PM, Room 23ABC). From the motion picture world come Darren Gilford, who designed both Star Wars: Episode VII – The Force Awakens and TRON: Legacy, and Ed Verreaux, Production Designer of Jurassic World and Looper. Television hits such as Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. and The Walking Dead will be deconstructed by Production Designer Greg Melton, while Production Designer John Mott will talk about 12 Monkeys, a Syfy show about a time traveler from a post-apocalyptic future, and the very different hit The Americans. John Muto will be moderating this panel.

Babylon 5 Fan Panel. Expected to Appear: Patricia Tallman, Bill Mumy, Stephen Furst, Jerry Doyle, Robin Atkin Downes, Claudia Christian,  Bruce Boxleitner, Mira Furlan.

Captured Aural Phantasy (6:30PM, Room 26AB).

Creating Online Worlds: Storytelling in MMOs and MOBA’s (3PM-4PM, Room 29AB). Expected to Appear: George Krstic, Leah Hoyer, James Waugh.

Fantasy Literature (4PM-5PM, Room 29AB). Expected to Appear: Heather Brewer, Tony DiTerlizzi, Kami Garcia, Brandon Sanderson, Maggie Stiefvater

Hasbro Marvel (4PM, Room 25ABC).

Today’s Costume Designers. The Costume Designers Guild Local 892 members, Soyon An (Jem and the Holograms), Ann Foley (Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.) and Kristin Burke (Sleepy Hollow) discuss the world of costume design for television and film. Moderated by Camden Toy (actor, Buffy The Vampire Slayer).
