In an alternate universe a very different version of DC’s Trinity (Batman, Superman & Wonderwoman) fight against the government after they are framed for an embassy bombing. The new animation series produced Bruce Timm (Batman: The Animated Series) is set in this alternate universe where we are introduced to a darker Justice League with Batman as a vampire/Kurt Langstrom, Zod is Superman’s father and Wonder Woman is the daughter of Ares. The people aren’t sure if this Justice League are here to save them or to rule them.
Directed by Sam Liu (All Star-Superman) written by Alan Burnett (Batman Beyond) and starring the voice talents of Paget Brewster (Criminal Minds) as Lois Lane, Michael C. Hall (Dexter) as Batman/Langstrom, Jason Isaacs (Harry Potter) as Lex Luthor, C. Thomas Howell (The Outsiders) as Dr. Will Magnus, Benjamin Bratt (Law & Order) as Superman/Zod and Tamara Taylor (Bones ) as Wonder Woman.
The new animated series will be shown on Machinima and with the complete series will be available for purchase on Blu-ray/DVD with Warner Brothers Home Entertainment on July 28, 2015. The next episode will be launched on Machinima in the next few days.
