The Muppets are back!!!

For 5 seasons airing from 1976-1981 Kermit the Frog and his friends struggle to put on a weekly variety show and now they are BACK!!! With the recent success of the The Muppets (2011) and The Muppets: Most Wanted (2014) Disney has decided to bring back The Muppets to prime time television.

For the first time ever, the new series will explore the Muppets’ personal lives and relationships, both at home and at work, as well as romances, breakups, achievements, disappointments, wants and desires. So in other words think The Office meet The Muppets. Directed by Randall Einhorn (The Office) and written by Bob Kushell (Anger Management-TV Series) and Bill Prady (The Big Bang Theory) and is set to be released this fall on ABC Television.
