On April 9, 2015 Lego announced that Lego would create a similar gaming format as that of Actavision’s Skylander, Disney Infinity and Nintendo’s Amibo line known as Lego: Dimensions. Lego: Dimensions is a new Lego video game developed by Traveller’s Tales and published by Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment, for the PS4, PS3, Wii U, Xbox One, and Xbox 360. Lego Dimensions will follow multiple characters from various Lego sets from properties such as DC, Lord of the Rings, Ninjango and The Lego Movie who all come together after a masked villain has broken into multiple worlds.
