Tom Hardy recently spoke about wanting to be the Punisher it looks like he will actually be going back to DC/Warner Bros. to work a new project.
For the longest time Tom Hardy was set to play Rick Flagg in DC/Warner Bros. Suicide Squad, but left the project due to scheduling conflicts for Hardy’s Press release junkets for Mad Max: Fury Road that will send him globe hopping and would conflict with filming for the Suicide Squad.
Now it seems that Tom Hardy has kept his connections to DC/Warner Bros. and will be working on a new property. During an interview for Mad max: Fury Road with Matt Goldberg of Collider Tom spoke of up coming projects “I actually got something cooking with Warner Bros. which is also a comic book, it’s a DC thing which is kind of… It’s really good actually, it contains elements of all kinds of stuff. From Ocean’s Eleven, to Batman, you can get all the wrappers out and it would be a big, really cool, Technicolor, Pulp Fiction…It’s a psychological fuckfest, it’s absolutely awesome. It’s as if you would take Transmetropolitan and make it happen, but it’s not that out there it’s something which is much more real world. It could be like Heat, it could be fucking awesome. Let me tell you what it is, try and guess.”
So what property could he be talking about? Doom Patrol, Challengers of the Unknown, Legion of Superheros, JSA, outsiders? WHAT COULD IT BE. I could keep going, but why, I guess we will just have to wait,
