For those of you have or have not heard of Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norrell it is a tale set in the year 1806 England. England is at war with Napoleon and the nations past surrounding practical magic has all, but been forgotten, until we meet Mr. Norell. With the help of scholars we find out that one practical magician is still practicing, but come to find out there are two.
Jonathan Strange & Mr. Norell takes on a tale of two polar opposite magicians who entertain the country and cause quite a stir. Written by Susanna Clarke and published in 2004 is being adapted to the small screen by the BBC and looks to be an interesting take.
