In the next installment of DC’s Animated Original Movies comes Batman vs Robin. Adapted from the pages of DC Comics Batman & Robin created by Grant Morrison following the events of Batman R.I.P, Final Crisis, and Battle for the Cowl.
Batman vs. Robin is centered around Robin (Damian Wayne) as he tries to cope with no kill rule put forth by Batman (Bruce Wayne). As the story progresses Robin feels that his destiny lies in the hands of someone else. Not just anyone, but the in the hands of the secret society that has ruled over Gotham since early colonial times. The group only known as The Court of Owls.
Batman & Robin was released on direct to DVD on April 14, 2015. Directed by Jay Oliva (Jutice League: War) Written by J.M. DeMatteis with characters created by Bob Kane, Grant Morrison and Scott Snyder. Batman vs. Robin showcases the voice talents of Kevin Conroy (Thomas Wayne), Jason O’Mara (Bruce Wayne/Batman), Jeremy Sisto (Talon) and ‘Weird Al’ Yankovic (The Dollmaker).
